Updated Access mobile app

Many features have been updated in the access management app of the Backstage ecosystem

We further developed our Access app, updating nearly 20 functions in it. The result is faster flow with simplified user experience, solving an even bigger pool of complex tasks. Renewed UI elements also make the work of onsite crews easier. Here are some examples of what’s new in Access:

• redeeming multiple tickets in one process

• searching and redeeming professional (accredited) tickets

• accelerated ticket exchange in case of existing online checkin data

• preloading age-related (e.g. minor) wristbands based on checkin data

• accelerated country selection during the checkin process, based on language selection or other preferences

• preloading postal codes based on transaction data (requested during ticket sales) in the checkin process

• barcode scanning as a fallback solution (in addition to our standard QR code scanning)

• comment section related to the redemption of a given ticket

• handling of customer service cases onsite (e.g. replacing personal data related to the redeemed ticket)

• remote configuration

• updated image processing software

• more informative error messages
